Description

An quick and energising breakfast smoothie with dates, banana, almond butter, oats and blueberries which is great for breakfast on the run.

Ingredients

  • 2 dates, stones removed
  • 1 heaped teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 50 g oats
  • 300 g almond milk
  • 100 g frozen blueberries
  • 1 small banana, peeled

Instructions

  1. Put everything into the Thermomix bowl and blend for 90 sec/speed 9.
  2. Drink immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container for 24 hours and give it a quick shake before consuming.

Notes

If you buy pitted dates from the supermarket, double check the stones are removed as occasionally they’re not!
