An quick and energising breakfast smoothie with dates, banana, almond butter, oats and blueberries which is great for breakfast on the run.
- 2 dates, stones removed
- 1 heaped teaspoon almond butter
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 50 g oats
- 300 g almond milk
- 100 g frozen blueberries
- 1 small banana, peeled
- Put everything into the Thermomix bowl and blend for 90 sec/speed 9.
- Drink immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container for 24 hours and give it a quick shake before consuming.
If you buy pitted dates from the supermarket, double check the stones are removed as occasionally they’re not!
