These Thermomix Cranberry and Pistachio Bliss Balls are made with dates, pistachios, dried cranberries, coconut oil and maple syrup. They are refined sugar free so make the perfect guilt free treat.
If you’ve read my blog before you will know I’m a big fan of Bliss Balls and love experimenting with different flavour combinations. My Thermomix Chocolate Chia Bliss Balls are by far the most popular recipe on the blog followed by my Goji Berry Bliss Balls.
They’re a really handy snack to keep in the fridge to satisfy sweet cravings and as long as you don’t eat too many they are fairly healthy as well. A lot of Bliss Ball recipes call for Medjool dates but I’ve just used normal dates and added a bit of coconut oil to help bind them together. (as Medjool dates are way too expensive here in Oz).
I always buy pitted dates from the supermarket but it’s worth double checking that there are actually no stones left in them as a couple of times I havn’t checked and have bitten into pieces of stone fragment!
- 100 g pistachios
- 150 g dates, pitted
- 50 g dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- quarter of a teaspoon salt
Add the pistachios to the Thermomix bowl and grind 10 sec/speed 9.
Add the dates and the cranberries and chop 10 sec/speed 7.
Add the maple syrup, coconut oil & salt and mix all together for 15 sec/speed 5.
Roll into walnut shaped balls and refrigerate for half an hour before eating. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
