Add a spicy kick to your morning with this Thermomix Turmeric Smoothie. Made with banana, pineapple, coconut milk, turmeric, fresh ginger and cinnamon, it’s a nutritious way to start the day.
If you don’t own a Nutribullet or similar then the Thermomix is great at making smoothies. This one contains anti-inflammatory Turmeric which doesn’t taste too strong when mixed with the other ingredients.
As with my recipe for Turmeric Latte, the addition of black pepper is to help the body to absorb Turmeric more easily. Print
A quick and nutritious way to start the day.
- 1 medium banana
- 100g frozen pineapple
- 200g coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- half teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cm fresh ginger
- pinch black pepper
- Place everything into the TM bowl and blend for 90 sec/speed 9.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
