Thermomix Honey Soy Sauce
An easy sauce to make in the Thermomix that's perfect for marinating chicken drumsticks, adding to stir-fries or brushing on salmon fillets before grilling.

Ingredients

clove
garlic

piece of fresh ginger

tamari

or salt-reduced soy sauce

Instructions
Add the garlic and ginger
to the Thermomix bowl and grate for
3 sec/speed 7
.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add the sesame oil, Tamari and honey, and mix for
5 sec/speed 4
. Scrape down the bowl.
Heat for
2 min/70°C/speed 2
with the measuring cap off.
Test for sweetness - if you like it a little sweeter, add a bit more honey.
You can use the sauce immediately or store it in an airtight jar in the fridge. It will last for two weeks. Stir it before using it.
Notes
Add some fresh red chilli or dried chilli flakes to make it spicy.
