This is a quick and easy method for Peeling Garlic in the Thermomix. You won't have to tirelessly do it by hand and end up with smelly garlic fingers!
I have to confess that even though I've owned my Thermomix for a few years, I only recently learned that you can use it to peel garlic cloves. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Thermomix can peel garlic almost as well as by hand!
It's a great flavour booster to store in the fridge, and we love to use it for our Garlic Parsley Butter.
Step-by-Step Directions
Note: This is a summary of the instructions. The full instructions are shown in the recipe card below.
- Add the garlic cloves to a dry Thermomix Bowl.
- Mix for 4 sec/reverse/speed 4.
Storage
Store the garlic in an airtight container in the fridge. Garlic has a very strong smell, so if the lid isn't on tightly, it will stink out the fridge (which happened to me!).
