- Add the garlic and ginger to the Thermomix bowl and grate for 3 seconds on speed 7.

- Add the remaining ingredients and mix for 5 sec/speed 4. Scrape down the bowl. Heat for 2 min/70°C/speed 2 with the measuring cap off. Test for sweetness - if you like it a little sweeter, add a bit more honey.

Thermomix Honey Soy Sauce
An easy sauce to make in the Thermomix that's perfect for marinating chicken drumsticks, adding to stir-fries or brushing on salmon fillets before grilling.
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- ½ cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 10 g sesame oil
- 70 g tamari, or salt-reduced soy sauce
- 20 g honey
Instructions
- Add the garlic and ginger to the Thermomix bowl and grate for 3 sec/speed 7.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add the sesame oil, Tamari and honey, and mix for 5 sec/speed 4. Scrape down the bowl.
- Heat for 2 min/70°C/speed 2 with the measuring cap off.
- Test for sweetness - if you like it a little sweeter, add a bit more honey.
