- Strawberries - choose large strawberries if possible as they are easier for dipping. Keep the green bits on top.
- Chocolate - use either dark or milk chocolate. Lindt chocolate melts really well. Otherwise, quality baking melts by Cadbury or Nestle found in the baking aisle are best for melting.
How to make Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- Melt the chocolate in the Thermomix and pour it into a small bowl. Dip each strawberry into the chocolate so that it's mostly coated.
- Place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper to set.
Top Tip
Any leftover melted chocolate can be used to make chocolate bark, freckles, or even a frothy Hot Chocolate!
Storage
Store the strawberries in the fridge for up to two days in an airtight container.

Thermomix Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Fresh strawberries dipped in deliciously dark chocolate.
Ingredients
- 100g dark chocolate, broken up into pieces
- 12-15 strawberries, tops left on
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and set aside.
- Break the chocolate up into pieces and place in the Thermomix bowl. Grate for 5 sec/speed 10.
- Scrape down the bowl and melt for 2 mins/50°C/speed 2.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a small bowl and dip the strawberries until coated. I find it easier to hold the strawberries by the green stalks to do this.
- Place each strawberry on the baking tray, and when all is done, transfer to the fridge to set for 30 minutes.
- Any leftover melted chocolate can be used to make chocolate bark, freckles, or even a frothy hot chocolate!
