Thermomix Turmeric Latte

This warm and spicy Thermomix Turmeric Latte is a soothing blend of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and a hint of black pepper. It is a perfect substitute for morning coffee and only takes a few minutes to prepare in the Thermomix.

This is an improved recipe from the original one published a few years ago. I received feedback that it was too spicy, so I reduced the quantity of ground turmeric.

Thermomix Turmeric Latte

Yield: 1 cup
Prep Time: 1 minute
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

A new and improved version of this recipe that is not as spicy.

Ingredients

  • 250g milk of choice, we like to use ½ almond milk and ½ cows milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon of ground ginger
  • maple syrup to taste
  • pinch of black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and heat for 3.5 mins/80℃/speed 2.
  2. Mix for 30 sec/speed 9 until nice and frothy.
  3. Sweeten with maple syrup or honey, and enjoy!

    Waaay too spice heavy. It’s burny in my mouth 🙁 it looks pretty but the flavour is not balanced, sorry.

      Hi Katie,
      Thank you for your feedback. You're right, I quite like it spicy but understand it's not to everyone's taste.
      I've reduced the quantities of the spices so it's not too overpowering.
