Starting your day with this Thermomix Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie is energising and requires minimal effort.
Smoothies are a great way to sneak some extra nutrition into fussy kids. If you don't own a Nutri Bullet or other blender, the Thermomix is perfect for blending one up.
Blueberries are often labelled a 'super food' due to their high nutritional benefits. The dates and maple syrup add sweetness, while the oats and banana give you sustained energy levels, keeping you fuller for longer.
Fresh blueberries are often quite expensive and have a short shelf life, so I always stock up on big bags of frozen berries from the supermarket to keep on hand whenever needed.
