Step by Step Instructions
Note: This is a summary of the instructions. The full ingredients and instructions are shown in the recipe card below.
- The Breville No-mess Waffle Maker is perfect for making small batches of waffles. The batter doesn't stick, which is the most important thing. Not sponsored; I just love Breville gadgets.
- To make these Thermomix Wholemeal Waffles, mix all the ingredients in the Thermomix, then pour them into the waffle iron to cook.
- I didn't quite add enough waffle batter in this photo, but at least it didn't go over the edge.
- Perfect fluffy waffles!
Top Tip
If you don't have a waffle iron, you can use the batter to make pancakes. Heat a little butter or coconut oil in a frying pan on medium to high heat, and cook for a minute or two on each side.
To Make Ahead
The batter can be made and stored in the fridge for a day. I transfer it to an easy-pour jug and cover it with cling film, or you could leave it in the Thermomix and place it directly in the fridge.
Storage
Any cooked waffles leftover can be stored in the fridge or freezer. To reheat the waffles from frozen, pop them in the toaster.
